We’re excited to announce the next round of grants to support multicultural festivals and events is now open!
The Multicultural Festival and Events program and the Regional Multicultural Festival and Events Fund for 2024-25 are now open to support multicultural and multifaith events held between 1 January 2025 and 30 June 2025.
Grants of up to $50,000 are available through the Multicultural Festivals and Events program for community organisations based in metropolitan Melbourne. You can apply through one of the following three streams:
- Small stream (up to $5,000)
- Medium stream (between $5,001 and 15,000)
- Large stream (between $15,001 and $50,000)
Understanding the barriers that regional and rural communities can experience, the Regional Multicultural Festivals and Events Fund is a dedicated program for regional and rural organisations, with no cap on funding amounts requested.
Applications from new and emerging communities with high numbers of refugees and those in humanitarian need will be prioritised.
Applications close at 3pm on Friday 25 October 2024.
