Nadia Marabi, the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and Programs at Orange Digital Centers in Morocco, affirmed that the company’s vision goes beyond simply providing telecommunications services. It aims to establish an integrated digital ecosystem that serves local communities, thereby enhancing its role as a key driver of sustainable development across 17 countries.

This statement was made during a press visit to the Orange Digital Center in Morocco. Marabi explained that the “Solidarity Digital Lab” (Fablab Solidaire) serves as a practical platform for transforming ideas into viable prototypes, contributing to the use of technology as a tool for economic empowerment and innovation.

She highlighted successful models in the technology sector, including companies in agricultural technology such as “Sand to Green,” which won the OSVP International Award for 2025, and digital health companies like “Waspito.” These initiatives demonstrate the role of innovation in addressing critical challenges such as food security and the development of healthcare services.

Marabi also pointed out the commitment of Orange Digital Centers to geographic expansion through “ODC Clubs” within universities. This initiative aims to support students through training programs and specialized events, focusing on future fields like artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, all while adopting a governance model that places social impact at the heart of its activities.

These centers operate within a comprehensive framework that begins with coding schools offering free training and extends to entrepreneurship support through “Orange Ventures,” which provides investments of up to 50 million euros to support startups. This enhances their role in bolstering the digital economy in Africa and the Middle East.

As a result, Orange Digital Centers have become a leading model for empowering youth and preparing them for the job market by offering free training and mentoring programs in vital areas, including software development, data analysis, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
