On the evening of Thursday, August 1, over 30 alumni of Notre Dame University (NDU) gathered at Sahra by the River, a renowned Lebanese restaurant in Parramatta owned by fellow alumnus Johnny Khoury. The event was organised by Wendy Finianos, the director of ATKA Insurance, and featured a delightful Lebanese dinner that brought together ex-students and ex-professors of the university.
The gathering served as a nostalgic reunion for NDU alumni, providing an opportunity to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate their shared experiences and achievements. The ambiance of Sahra by the River, with its warm and welcoming atmosphere, was the perfect setting for such a meaningful occasion.

The evening was filled with laughter, stories, and a sense of camaraderie as attendees enjoyed a variety of traditional Lebanese dishes. The delicious food, combined with the lively conversation, created a festive and joyous atmosphere. There was also a consensus that such a reunion should happen more often and in different places around Sydney and maybe even interstate.

Notre Dame University, known for its commitment to academic excellence and community engagement, has a strong and active alumni network. Events like this reunion in Sydney demonstrate the lasting impact of the university on its graduates, who continue to value and support their alma mater long after graduation.
