Notre Dame University–Louaize (NDU) held its Annual Benefit Concert on 15 June 2025 at its main campus in Zouk Mosbeh, uniting the Lebanese community in a powerful display of cultural pride and academic purpose. Under the theme “For the Future of Lebanon and Its Youth,” the evening starred renowned Lebanese singer, composer, and arranger Marwan Khoury, whose heartfelt performance captivated the audience and underscored the vital connection between the arts and national renewal.
Marwan Khoury generously performed pro bono in support of NDU’s Scholarship and Student Support Fund. All proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships will go directly toward providing financial aid, ensuring that deserving students are not denied the opportunity of higher education due to financial hardship.
The event drew an impressive roster of dignitaries and community leaders, including:
- Rev. Fr. Bechara Khoury – President of NDU
- The Hon. Paul Boutros – Minister of Media
- The Hon. Ziyad Baroud – Former Minister of Interior and Municipalities
- Several local mayors and municipal leaders
These prominent figures lent their presence in solidarity with NDU’s ongoing mission to invest in Lebanon’s youth through quality education.
The success of the concert was made possible through the support of its Platinum Partners, including INDEVCO Group and Chedid Insurance, and Bronze Partners such as Moulin D’Or, Rim Water, BLOM Bank, Libano-Suisse, and Barista Coffee. Media partners also played a crucial role in expanding the reach of the event, with notable support from Télé Liban, MTV Lebanon, Aghani Aghani, Noursat TV, and Oz Arab Media.
The 2025 Benefit Concert reaffirmed NDU’s commitment to creating transformative opportunities for the next generation—by harnessing the power of music, community, and philanthropy to shape a brighter future for Lebanon.
