NSW LABOR COMMITS $5.5 MILLION TO SUPPORT THE MARONITE COMMUNITY

A NSW Labor Government will provide $5.5 million to support the growing Maronite community in New South Wales.

The commitment comprises:

  • $5,000,000 – for the new aged care & wellness facility in Harris Park. This facility is a significant milestone for the Maronite community offering residential aged care, day-care, dementia facilities, as well as a wellness centre for the elderly.
  • $300,000 – to help the Maronite community celebrate the 50-year anniversary Golden Jubilee of the official establishment of the Maronite Eparchy of Australia.
  • $200,000 – to the Maronite College of the Holy Family in Harris Park to fund a new bus and to invest in solar power capability.
