Yesterday, on April 4th, 2023, the delegation of Oz Arab Media, led by Director Mr. Remy Wehbe, continued their visit to various religious, political, and community representatives in Sydney. One of their stops was to visit His Eminence Mor Malatius Malki Metropolitan Archbishop of Australia and New Zealand Syrian Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East. The meeting took place in Lidcombe, where Mr. Wehbe introduced the delegation and Oz Arab Media, explaining the platform’s purpose and reach within the Arab communities in Australia and around the world.
During the meeting, His Eminence shared an overview of his community’s activities in the area, and his hopes for the future. He also recounted a bit of history related to the Syrian Orthodox communities in Syria and the Middle East.
As the meeting drew to a close, Mr. Wehbe cordially invited His Eminence to Oz Arab Media’s upcoming Gala Dinner, taking place on May 19th at the Doltone House in Bossley Park. The event promises to be a memorable evening filled with entertainment and networking opportunities for Arab communities in Australia.
