On Monday, March 13, 2023, Mr. Remy Wehbe and a delegation from Oz Arab Media paid a visit to the Maronite Catholic Society of Australia (MCSA) at their office in Strathfield South. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Joseph Mekary, the president of MCSA, and other members of the association.
During the visit, Mr. Wehbe gave an overview of Oz Arab Media’s mission and activities in the community. He expressed a desire to collaborate with the MCSA and offered to feature their news and events on the platform. The members of the association were receptive to the offer and asked questions about the upcoming events of Oz Arab Media.
Mr. Wehbe also extended an invitation to the members of MCSA to attend Oz Arab Media’s gala event on May 19 at Doltone House in Bossley Park. The event was aimed at fostering community engagement and promoting cultural diversity. Additionally, Mr. Charbel Tadros, the president of AIM Association and media manager of Oz Arab Media, introduced the AIM Business Awards, which generated considerable interest among the MCSA members.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties expressing a desire to explore opportunities for collaboration and work together towards promoting cultural understanding and community engagement.
