Palestinian teen injured by Israeli forces near Nablus
A Palestinian boy was shot and injured by Israeli forces during a raid on the Askar al-Jadid refugee camp, east of Nablus in the northern West Bank, Wafa news agency is reporting on Thursday, citing medical sources.
Amjad Ahmed, the director of the Ambulance and Emergency Centre of the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Nablus, reported that the 18-year-old was shot in the chest by Israeli soldiers.
He was promptly transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces fired live ammunition as they stormed the camp in the afternoon.
