Winston Hills and North Rocks can now enjoy 12 brand-new pickleball courts, with upgrades to sporting facilities at Third Settlement Reserve and Don Moore Reserve now complete.

The project has transformed existing courts into multi-purpose recreation spaces, adding pickleball line markings to the netball courts and resurfacing of the basketball court, seating and improved footpaths for locals to enjoy a range of sports and recreational activities.

The new courts add to a growing network of pickleball facilities across the City, bringing the total number of pickleball venues to five.

City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Martin Zaiter said pickleball has surged in popularity in recent years, making it one of the City’s fastest-growing sports.

“Pickleball is taking off across Parramatta, and we’re responding by creating more places for people to play close to home,” Cr Zaiter said.

“This is about delivering quality recreational facilities that support healthy, active communities, and these upgrades are another great example of that investment.

“These new courts will help more people get active and connected in their community, I encourage everyone to grab a paddle and have a go.”
