For six decades Picnic Point Public School has transformed the lives of thousands of students. Over this time, the staff have provided a welcoming, engaging and safe learning environment committed to the pursuit of excellence in all areas, with each student reaching their personal best. The school has worked in close partnership with the parents and community to enable students to become happy, motivated, reflective and collaborative learners, with the skills to shape their world.
This is a time to reflect on and celebrate the school’s past and present and look forward to the bright future ahead. It is important to share this achievement with all school and community members, both past and present, who have influenced the wonderful school culture, character and values that embody Picnic Point Public School, today.
The school plans to commemorate this important milestone of 60 years of education, with two events in October 2022: an Alumni Cocktail Party and a 60th Festival.
The Alumni Cocktail Party will be held on Saturday 22nd October 2022 between 7.00pm – 11.00pm at the school hall.
This event will feature live entertainment, live and silent auctions and great food and wine.
This event is ticketed, with a maximum of 150 guests.

The 60th Festival will be held on Friday 28th October 2022 between 3.30pm-7.00pm at the school.
It will feature live community entertainment, side show alley activities, including: a petting zoo, dunk tank, showbags, food and treats, as well as an interactive history exhibit featuring mixed media presentations of the school’s 60-year history.
This event is open to the public and we hope to have many past and present students, parents, staff and community members come along and celebrate with us.
We would also like to acknowledge our major event sponsors, Melrose Estate Agents, Prime Cut Gourmet, The Lions Club of Canterbury Bankstown and Oz Arab Media and thank them for their support of these celebrations.
