According to BBC News, Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal are all plotting moves for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford. The 28-year-old is the subject of interest from the three Premier League clubs, although Manchester United’s hierarchy do not want to sell him to another English club.
Arsenal are also interested in Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa, 28, while Villa’s Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, 33, is a Juventus target. Juventus are additionally reported to want West Ham’s French centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo, 26.
Nottingham Forest are in advanced talks to sign Sporting CP and Ivory Coast defender Ousmane Diomande, 22. Ipswich, meanwhile, have agreed a deal in principle for Celtic’s Japanese forward Daizen Maeda, 28, worth £8m plus £2m in add-ons.
Manchester United remain keen on a central midfielder but have cooled their interest in Brighton’s Carlos Baleba and Bournemouth’s Alex Scott, both 22, because of their high price tags. Bournemouth are determined to retain Scott despite the England Under-21 international rejecting a new contract, with Arsenal interested. United’s 18-year-old Australian full-back James Overy is also being monitored by Rangers and several clubs in Australia.
