A group of traditional chiefs from IDP camp paid a courtesy visit to the president in State House.
The community leaders addressed the president about their situation and the challenges they are facing in UNMISS protection sites for civilians where they have been living for a period of Eight years of war.
The team assured the president that they are ready to come out from IDP camps and asked the president to provide them with a land where they can be relocated to because their homes had been taken by others since the war broke out in 2013.
Moreover, President Kiir asked traditional chiefs to encourage those who remain in camps to come out and rebuild their lives instead of persisting in the camp.
Speaking to the media, Thomas Tut, who is the paramount chief, said that he is very happy with the president and thanked the president for giving them a land in where IDPs will be relocate when they come out.
