Arabic version: الأمير هاري يأمل في المصالحة مع العائلة المالكة
According to ABC News, Prince Harry has said he hopes to reconcile with King Charles and the rest of the royal family, six years after he and his wife Meghan left royal duties and moved to the United States.
In an interview with GQ magazine, Harry said “the most important thing is to reconcile,” while acknowledging that family disputes can involve sibling disagreements and broken relationships between children and parents. He said he wanted a reconciliation to succeed.
Harry, 42, has barely spoken to his older brother, Prince William, for years, while his family has only recently met again with King Charles. His spokesperson said comments about some people not wanting reconciliation were not intended as a swipe at William or other relatives.
The Duke of Sussex said that although “scars stick around forever,” he wanted to encourage people to let go of the past. He also said there was enough drama in the world and in people’s lives without continuing family issues.
Harry recently relocated to Britain with Meghan and their two children. He told GQ that placing his children in a British school had meant a great deal to him, saying they had been at school for two weeks and were “loving it.”
