According to Al Jazeera, nine protesters blocked access to an Elbit Systems factory in Staffordshire over the company’s supply of military equipment to Israel.

The protesters attached themselves to five “lock-ons” during the action, which launched the direct-action group Silence Elbit Drones.

Al Jazeera spoke with group spokesperson Audrey Corno, who said the group’s objective is to disrupt Elbit’s operations because of its military equipment supply to Israel.

Elbit Systems was the target of the blockade at its Staffordshire factory. The action was reported on September 21, 2026.
