According to Al Jazeera, Qatar’s prime minister said Benjamin Netanyahu was manipulating public opinion by attacking Qatar over its criticism of Israel.

The comments were made in an interview with British broadcaster Piers Morgan, featured by Al Jazeera’s Newsfeed on 29 September 2026.

Qatar’s prime minister said attention should instead be directed toward war crimes committed by Israel in Gaza. He described Netanyahu’s criticism of Qatar as an effort to deflect focus from those allegations.
