According to ABC News, emergency services are searching for a man in his 60s who is missing near floodwater in northern Victoria.

The search is focused on an area along the Goulburn River near a causeway between Shepparton and Mooroopna.

Victorian police officers have been searching the area since early Thursday morning alongside members of the Tatura State Emergency Service and the Shepparton Search and Rescue team.

Police are also using the police air wing in the operation. The Goulburn River exceeded the minor flood level on Thursday morning.
