The family of Jana Armstrong, a 30-year-old mother from Toowoomba, is urgently seeking information regarding her disappearance. Armstrong was reported missing after last being seen at a home in Newtown on Tuesday night. Her vehicle, a white Hyundai Kona, was located early Wednesday morning at the corner of Jellicoe Street and Gordon Avenue.
According to ABC News, police and State Emergency Service (SES) crews are actively searching multiple locations in Toowoomba, including Black Gully Reserve, approximately 500 meters from where forensic officers are conducting investigations.
Armstrong is described as Caucasian, approximately 165 centimeters tall, with blue eyes and brown hair. Her family has expressed deep concern for her welfare, noting that her disappearance is out of character. Her brother, Sam Davison, emphasized the family’s desperation for any leads, urging anyone with information to reach out to the police or Crimestoppers.
Friends and family have highlighted Armstrong’s caring nature, with her close friend Amelia Street describing her as a “gorgeous soul” and an “angel on earth.” Street mentioned that Armstrong’s four-month-old baby is currently being looked after by a family member while the search continues. The community is rallying around the family, hoping for a swift resolution to this troubling situation.
