South Sudan welcomed the official launch of the newly established ‘Great Blessing Grace Church’ on Saturday in the capital city of Juba. The event, attended by an array of local and international guests, was marked by vibrant celebrations and spiritual blessings.
The launch ceremony was officiated by the esteemed guest Evangelist Temisa from Nigeria, who travelled specifically to be part of this significant occasion. In his speech, Temisa addressed the ongoing conflict in South Sudan and the economic hardships faced by its people, emphasising the need for peace and unity. He also performed symbolic rituals, making prophetic predictions and engaging with the congregation by pouring water into their hands as a gesture of blessing and renewal.
Evangelist Temisa, who is widely regarded as a representative of the late Nigerian spiritual leader, shared insights and divine messages during the ceremony. He was joined by Prophet Paulino Gatkuoth Lew, who delivered a sermon based on biblical principles, calling for ethical living and renewed faithfulness to God. Gatkuoth, known for his deep spiritual connection, stated that his role is to serve as an intermediary between humanity and divine forces, encouraging the faithful to adhere to a life of righteousness.
The ceremony attracted various churches, community groups, and government officials. The Honourable Duer, one of the attendees, praised the establishment of the church and its importance in bringing people closer to God. He expressed his gratitude to Evangelist Temisa and Prophet Gatkuoth for their efforts in founding this place of worship.
Gatluak Michael, a long-time associate of Prophet Gatkuoth, reflected on their discussions about the church’s symbolism and its significance to the community. He confidently declared that the Great Blessing Grace Church is destined to become a lasting pillar of faith in South Sudan.
Both Kuol Nyang, Chairperson of the Nuer Youth Union, reiterated his unwavering support for Prophet Paulino Gatkuoth. He highlighted Gatkuoth’s commendable background, particularly his contributions to the military and society at large. Nyang assured attendees that the Great Blessing Grace Church would endure and continue to be a beacon of hope and spirituality for generations to come.
