Women leaders, athletes, entrepreneurs, creatives, educators, health advocates and community stakeholders will gather at the Parliament of NSW for the inaugural SuperNaari Conclave 2026 on Thursday, 24 September.
Presented by the Saroni Roy Foundation, the Conclave will explore how inclusion can be transformed from an aspiration into tangible opportunity. Its central theme, “SuperNaari Sportainment: Breaking Barriers for Women in Sports,” will place women’s experiences across sport, fitness and wellness at the heart of the conversation.
While celebrating the achievements of women athletes, coaches, professionals and leaders, the event will also examine the gender health gap in sport. Discussions will address how menstrual, reproductive and sexual health can affect performance, participation, career longevity and overall wellbeing in high-performance environments.
Through lived experiences, expert perspectives and cross-sector dialogue, the Conclave aims to challenge stigma, identify persistent barriers and encourage practical action supporting women’s health, leadership, equity and inclusion.
The program will feature distinguished keynote addresses, a Global Icons Forum and panel discussion, along with the launch of SuperNaari Sportainment. Attendees will also have opportunities to connect with leaders and organisations interested in meaningful partnerships and social impact.
The Conclave builds on SuperNaari – A Period Equity Initiative, the Saroni Roy Foundation’s flagship Women, Peace and Security initiative. First unveiled at the MAHATMA Peace Symposium 2024, SuperNaari works to address period poverty, menstrual equity and the gender health gap through education, advocacy, policy engagement and community partnerships. The word “Naari” is derived from Sanskrit and means “woman”.
Another important focus of the evening will be the growing cultural connections between Australia and India. The event will celebrate partnerships spanning education, business, sport and community life, while encouraging greater collaboration, knowledge exchange and opportunity across both countries.
Ultimately, SuperNaari Conclave 2026 will invite participants to consider what a more equitable future for women in sport, health, leadership and society could look like—and what individuals, organisations and communities can do together to build it.
