Arabic version: توجيه تهمة لامرأة من تارا بعد عثور الشرطة على 119 حيواناً
According to ABC News, Queensland Police have charged a 48-year-old Tara woman with one count of serious animal cruelty after officers allegedly found 119 animals at a rural property west of Brisbane.
Police released footage of a search conducted at the Tara property last week. Tara is about four hours west of Brisbane.
Police said the animals allegedly found included 32 dogs, 18 goats, 16 cats, 38 chickens, six budgies, three quails, a parrot, a dove, three guinea pigs and a pet rat.
Officers said dogs, cats, goats, birds and rodents were assessed and given immediate care. Police said their investigations are ongoing.
The woman is due to appear before Chinchilla Magistrates Court on August 20.
