According to ABC News, Vana-Reese Schuster-Togiatau, 19, has died in hospital after being critically injured in a drive-by shooting at Fitzys Loganholme, south of Brisbane.

Ms Schuster-Togiatau, from Jimboomba, was shot in the head and neck on Saturday night during a boxing event at the venue. She died at Princess Alexandra Hospital on Thursday morning.

Police said two masked men shot four people during the incident. Three men — Zachary Uchtman, Brodie Blackwood and Kane Barrett — were also taken to hospital. Two have since been released, while one remains in treatment.

Logan District Detective Inspector Ian Galpin said the case was now being investigated as a homicide. About 80 detectives are working on the investigation, and Queensland Police have not ruled out gang involvement. The two suspects remain on the run.

Detective Inspector Galpin appealed for information from people who know who was involved or why the shooting occurred. He also thanked people at the venue who provided first aid before emergency services arrived. A GoFundMe page supporting Ms Schuster-Togiatau and her whānau had raised more than $53,000 toward a $70,000 target.
