Telecom Egypt announced on its official website an increase in the prices of landline internet packages, set to be implemented starting January 5.
Educational and government service websites remain free.
Updated prices:
- The 140 GB package, the most popular, will increase to LE160, instead of LE120.
- The 200 GB package will increase to LE 225, instead of LE170.
- The 250 GB package will increase to LE 280, instead of LE210.
- The 400 GB package will increase to LE 440, instead of LE340.
- The 600 GB package will increase to LE 650, instead of LE500.
- The one TB package will increase to LE 1,050, instead of LE 800.
The number of landline telephone subscribers in Egypt reached 12.23 million subscriptions by the end of July 2023, compared to about 11.83 million by the end of June 2023 and to 11.72 million subscriptions in July 2022.
