This Wednesday afternoon, April 22, the spiritual conference for the clergy of the Coptic Church in Australia concluded. The conference commenced on Monday, April 20, at the St. Mary MacKillop Spiritual Centre located in the Norwest area of Sydney, New South Wales.
Clergy from the dioceses of Sydney and Melbourne participated in the event, blessed by the presence of His Grace Bishop Daniel, the Bishop of Sydney and its Dependencies, and His Grace Bishop Daniel, the Abbot of the Monastery of St. Shenouda the Archimandrite in New South Wales. The conference also welcomed guests, including His Grace Bishop Elarian of the Red Sea Diocese and His Grace Bishop Joseph of Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Malawi.
The conference program included daily prayers and liturgies, spiritual reflections, pastoral lectures, and discussions focused on ways to enhance service and strengthen collaborative church efforts. These activities aimed to meet the needs of the Coptic community, particularly the youth living abroad. Additionally, the conference provided a platform for the clergy to exchange pastoral experiences and foster bonds of love and unity among them, all within an atmosphere of genuine fellowship and prayer.
