The Egyptian Embassy in Canberra, along with the General Consulates in Sydney and Melbourne, had the honor of conveying a message of congratulations from His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the Egyptian community, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. In his message, he stated:

“My brothers and sons, the Muslims of Egypt abroad, it gives me great pleasure to send you my sincerest congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. I pray to God Almighty to make it a blessed Eid and to accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds. I wish you all success and prosperity, and I hope for our beloved Egypt and its noble people continued progress, advancement, and prosperity. Wishing you a joyous Eid and many happy returns.”

On this occasion, the embassy and consulates expressed their heartfelt congratulations to the Egyptian community, hoping that this festive occasion brings goodness, blessings, and a return to peace and stability to our dear homeland. Additionally, they announced that the period from March 19 to March 23 will be an official holiday, with operations and citizen services resuming on Tuesday, March 24.
