Under the gracious patronage of Darulfatwa in Australia, the Islamic Charitable Projects Association held a religious celebration dedicated to women on the occasion of the Prophet’s Hijra (Migration). The event took place on Saturday evening at Salamah College Hall, under the title:

“Hijra… A Path of Light and Patience”

The celebration featured a distinguished programme inspired by the noble meanings of the Prophet’s Hijra, and the profound lessons it embodies in steadfastness, sacrifice, and patience in promoting guidance and goodness.

The programme included inspirational speeches highlighting the significance of this blessed occasion and its profound impact on the lives of Muslims, emphasising the importance of following the example of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in facing challenges.

The female nasheed group (Islamic chanting) Noor Al Madinah Band of the Islamic Charitable Projects Association added a deeply moving spiritual atmosphere to the event by presenting a selection of meaningful Islamic chants, distinguished by their beautiful performance and melodious voices, which were greatly appreciated by the attendees and enhanced the overall spiritual ambience.

This activity comes as part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to commemorate Islamic occasions, promote religious values, preserve Islamic heritage among expatriate communities, and strengthen a sense of identity and belonging among them.
