Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man outside a cocktail bar at a seaside resort. Dorset Police reported that officers were called to reports of an assault outside MyBar on Charminster Road, Bournemouth at about 03:00 BST.

The victim, a man aged in his 40s from Christchurch, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed. The arrested men are aged 37 and 46 from Bournemouth, and 34 from Poole.

According to BBC News, police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward. Detective Chief Inspector Nicky Jenkins of Dorset Police’s Major Crime Investigation Team stated that a detailed investigation is underway to establish what happened.

An extensive cordon remains in place at the scene, with officers expected to remain in the area over the coming days while vital work at the scene is carried out.
