According to BBC News, Tottenham are in advanced talks to sign Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye, while Richarlison is set to move in the opposite direction through separate negotiations. A deal for Ndiaye is largely agreed between the clubs, but it remains unclear whether he will join Spurs, with Manchester City among the clubs to have shown interest.

Everton are open to selling 26-year-old Ndiaye after he rejected multiple contract offers. He also held talks with Saudi club Al-Hilal earlier in the summer. Manchester City have held talks over Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, another Tottenham target, although Liverpool would need to secure a replacement before allowing a move.

Everton have agreed terms in principle to re-sign Richarlison after the Brazil international told Tottenham head coach Roberto de Zerbi “too many times that he wants to leave”. Richarlison is in the final year of his Tottenham contract and would offer competition to Everton first-choice striker Thierno Barry, while Beto’s future at Hill Dickinson Stadium remains uncertain.

Richarlison is one of three players De Zerbi says have asked to leave Spurs, along with Kevin Danso and Pape Matar Sarr. None were in Tottenham’s squad for the 2-0 home defeat by Newcastle. De Zerbi said that players seeking exits must bring “the economic solution” to the club.

Everton are also increasingly confident of a loan agreement for Jack Grealish from Manchester City, though the terms remain complicated. The club are close to a £9m deal for Fulham right-back Kenny Tete, while Fulham have entered talks with Rayo Vallecano over Andrei Ratiu. The moves form part of a series of Premier League deals before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
