Paul Flack, the older brother of TV presenter Caroline Flack, has died at the age of 55. He was found unresponsive at his home in Sandringham Road, Norwich, on 21 June and later pronounced dead at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. An inquest into his death has opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court, with a full inquest scheduled for October. According to BBC News, police are treating his death as unexplained but do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances.
Caroline Flack, known for hosting shows like Love Island, tragically took her own life on 15 February 2020, at the age of 40, while facing legal troubles. Her death ignited discussions about the impact of online hate on mental health. Both siblings were born in London but spent their childhood in Norfolk.
The organizers of Flackstock, a festival aimed at promoting mental health awareness in memory of Caroline, expressed their grief over Paul Flack’s passing. They described him as funny, kind, and loving, stating that the news has left them heartbroken. The festival’s statement highlighted the profound impact Paul had on those around him, emphasizing his warmth and laughter.
