The AI image was not original to Trump; it first appeared in early February, shared by conservative commentator Nick Adams. In Adams’s version, a silhouette of a US soldier was present, but Trump’s version altered this figure into a demonic entity with horns looming behind the president as he performs his miracle.

The controversy surrounding the post coincides with Trump’s ongoing conflict with Pope Leo XIV, who has alluded to a “delusion of omnipotence” affecting U.S. foreign policy. Trump has retaliated, labeling the pope as “WEAK on Crime” and suggesting he is catering to the radical left.
