According to France 24, Tunisia’s boating industry is continuing to grow as summer ends and the boating season remains under way.

The sector has expanded despite what the report describes as an overall sluggish economy. Tunisia is now a hub for boat construction, producing vessels ranging from pleasure craft to sophisticated luxury yachts.

The industry was reorganized through a trade association in 2024. Since that reorganization, numerous foreign factories have been established in the country, supporting the sector’s development.
