According to Al Jazeera, hundreds of Tunisians protested in Tunis to demand the release of four Global Sumud Flotilla activists who are being held in pre-trial detention.

The four activists have been detained since March over alleged financial misconduct linked to the Gaza aid mission.

The Global Sumud Flotilla sailed towards Gaza in 2025 with the aim of delivering humanitarian aid.

The demonstration focused on calls for the activists’ release as their pre-trial detention continues.
