According to BBC News, Mopreme Shakur, Tupac Shakur’s stepbrother, said he wants his brother back and does not believe a murder trial will bring justice.

The BBC spoke with Mopreme ahead of opening statements on Monday in the trial of the man accused of killing the rapper. The interview focused on Tupac’s legacy 30 years after his death.

Mopreme also recalled the night of the shooting and discussed what it was like growing up alongside Tupac, whom the BBC described as one of hip-hop’s most influential figures.
