According to Al Jazeera, Turkiye and Pakistan agreed during emergency talks in Riyadh to send rapid deployment forces to Saudi Arabia as fighting in Yemen grows.

The agreement was reached while Yemen’s government forces launched a counter-offensive against the Houthis. The government forces are backed by Riyadh.

The counter-offensive is aimed at regaining territory that government forces had lost, Al Jazeera reported.
