According to ABC News, two men died in separate crashes in Adelaide’s southern suburbs on Saturday, taking South Australia’s road toll to 79.

SA Police said emergency services were called to Coromandel Valley just before 4pm after reports of a motorbike crash. The rider, a 41-year-old from Munno Para, died at the scene.

A few hours later, emergency services were called to Hackham after a pedestrian was reportedly struck by a car. Police said the driver left the scene before reporting to Christies Beach Police Station.

The pedestrian, a 60-year-old Hackham man, died at the scene. Investigations into both unrelated crashes are continuing.

The state’s road toll now stands at 79, compared with 87 deaths for all of 2025 and 89 in 2024.
