Arabic version: بريطانيا تفرض عقوبات على 15 مسؤولاً بسبب انتهاكات في الفاشر

According to France 24, the United Kingdom has sanctioned 15 military officials over the brutality and abuse of civilians during the fall of El Fasher.

The sanctions were highlighted in France 24’s “Eye on Africa” programme, issued on October 26, 2026. The report examined developments one year after the fall of El Fasher, in Sudan.

Elsewhere in the programme, Algeria was reported to be preparing to send army units to Niger to protect its energy and economic interests there.

France 24 also reported that, days after a foreigner was beaten to death on the streets of Durban, a stalled asylum process has left many migrants living in fear.
