A school teacher in Western Australia’s Goldfields region has pleaded not guilty to five assault charges against several students. The teacher appeared in Kalgoorlie Magistrates Court today on five counts of common assault in circumstances of aggravation or racial aggravation.
According to ABC News, the court was informed that the alleged incidents occurred in February and were witnessed by a child, contributing to the aggravation of the charges.
Due to a suppression order issued during the hearing, further details regarding the case remain undisclosed. The female is on bail and is scheduled to return to court in June for further proceedings.
