WLCU Australia participates in Sydney commemoration of Imam Musa al-Sadr

The Amal Movement in Sydney held its annual commemoration of the disappearance of Imam Musa al-Sadr, attended by members of the Lebanese-Australian community.

Sheikh Kamel Wahbi delivered a keynote address that focused on unity and cooperation within communities in both Lebanon and Australia.

Lebanese MP Ali Hassan Khalil also addressed the gathering live, directing his remarks to the Lebanese diaspora and calling for collective support for Lebanon in international forums.

The World Lebanese Cultural Union (WLCU) in Australia participated through a delegation comprising Continental President Dr Abraham Constantin, Secretary- Dr Ghassan Al-Ashy, South-West Sydney Branch President Dr Ali Al-Ashy, and Mr. Remy Wehbe, President of the Lebanese Australian Football Association (ALFA) and director of Oz Arab Media.
