A 16-year-old boy is in custody after a woman and a young girl were found stabbed in Queensland.
Emergency services went to a home in the Rosewood, a rural town in Ipswich, on Thursday night where they found the woman, 39 and the girl, 11, with wounds to the abdomen.
A 16-year-old boy who lives at the home was taken into custody.
The victims were taken to hospital in critical condition.
Investigations into the stabbing are continuing.
