The first PET/CT scanning machine to be installed in Campbelltown is now available at I-MED in Campbelltown Park Central.

Opened by Member for Campbelltown Greg Warren on behalf of NSW Premier Chris Minns, this state-of-the-art medical imaging technology will service the broader Macarthur region and support the rapid growth that is occurring in the area.

PET/CT scans are primarily used to diagnose or monitor cancers, including breast, prostate and lung cancers. They can also check the heart muscle and monitor blood flow to the heart.
