Sydney audiences are being invited to enjoy a night of laughter, culture, family humour, and Lebanese-Australian storytelling as Yalla to Lebanon (Upgraded!) returns to the stage for one night only at the Seymour Centre.
Presented by Makhazzi Productions, the much-loved theatre comedy is back by popular demand after winning the hearts of audiences in its first season. This upgraded version promises an even sharper, funnier, and more magical experience, bringing together Lebanese heritage, village superstition, family chaos, and heartfelt cultural connection.
Written and directed by James Elazzi and Antony Makhlouf, the production follows the story of Abraham, who travels to Lebanon hoping to claim an inheritance. What begins as a search for easy money quickly turns into a journey filled with unexpected twists, spells, humour, and a deeper connection to his roots.
