According to Al Jazeera, Yemen’s Ambassador to Qatar, Rajeh Hussain Farhan Badi, said the Houthis are attempting to draw Saudi Arabia into conflict.

Badi said the group is targeting Saudi territory, civilian infrastructure and Saudi-linked vessels in the Red Sea.

The Yemeni diplomat described those actions as an effort to drag Saudi Arabia into war.
