Blayze James Noble has been charged with the murder of Christine Joyce Diane Marshall Hunter, a 27-year-old woman allegedly killed by her boyfriend during a road trip in the Northern Territory. According to ABC News, police discovered Ms. Hunter’s body in a 4WD vehicle outside Tennant Creek on Sunday morning.

Authorities reported that Mr. Noble, 33, called them to say his girlfriend was injured after their vehicle struck a kangaroo near Tennant Creek. He was arrested shortly after the incident and charged with murder on Thursday night.

The family of Ms. Hunter expressed their devastation over her sudden death. Jazmyne Lecerf, Ms. Hunter’s sister, described her as a “loving” and “protective” person, emphasizing that her sister had a vibrant presence that could light up a room. Ms. Lecerf shared that the family is struggling to cope with the shock and grief, especially as they are far away from the Northern Territory.

Ms. Hunter, originally from Caloundra, worked at a bakery on the Sunshine Coast after finishing school. Her family noted that they last heard from her on March 30, and they are currently awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death. Mr. Noble is scheduled to appear in Alice Springs Local Court on Monday.
