Zamalek Club, under the patronage of the club’s board of directors headed by Captain Hussein Labib, held a children’s entertainment festival today, Thursday, in cooperation with Alaa El-Din magazine, affiliated with the Al-Ahram Foundation. The event is part of the club’s efforts to offer a variety of cultural and recreational activities to members of the general assembly.
The festival was organized under the supervision of the club’s Social Activity Department, led by Dr. Yehia Hassan, Deputy Executive Director for Social Activities at Zamalek. It was attended by senior journalist Hussein El-Zanaty, editor-in-chief of Alaa El-Din magazine at the Al-Ahram Foundation and First Deputy of the Journalists’ Syndicate, who expressed his pleasure at collaborating with Zamalek Club. He thanked the club’s board, led by Captain Hussein Labib, and Dr. Yehia Hassan for their support and commitment to organizing events that aim to develop children’s skills and enrich their knowledge in a lively, entertaining setting.
Major General Ahmed Suleiman, a member of Zamalek Club’s board of directors, also attended and followed the activities, which saw strong engagement from both children and their families.
Hussein El-Zanaty said the festival featured a variety of cultural and recreational activities, including an interactive storytelling workshop that captured the children’s interest, as well as a basic drawing and coloring workshop. Drawing and coloring supplies were distributed to the children, giving them the opportunity to express their talents and creativity in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
El-Zanaty added that the program also included traditional puppetry and marionette shows, which brought joy and delight, with wide participation and strong interaction from the children and their families.
He noted that organizing this festival reflects Zamalek Club’s commitment to offering purposeful programs that combine entertainment and culture, help develop children’s imagination, refine their talents, and foster creativity, thereby providing a distinctive experience for club members and their families.
