The Australian Arab Business Council (AABC) has elected a new Board of Management for 2025 during its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Wednesday, 12th February 2025, at La Castelle Venue in Bankstown. The AGM was chaired by Ms. Reem Borrows, an esteemed Life Coach from Dreem Coaching & Consulting.
Following the presentation of the Annual Report by outgoing President, Mr. Radwan Hamdan, the election of the new Board took place. The election was conducted by the Returning Officer, Mr. Hassan El-Husseini of Husseini Lawyers and Public Notaries.
The newly elected AABC Board for 2025 is as follows:
- President: Mr. George Bousamra, Syncorp Consulting
- Vice President: Mr. Bass El-Hashem, All Stars Solutions
- Secretary: Ms. Batoul Khayat, KPR Recruitment
- Treasurer: Ms. Jannette Samawy, DSJ Taxation
- Board Member: Mr. Radwan Hamdan, Hamdan & Associates
- Board Member: Ms. Nancy Tannous, Acqua Accountants
- Board Member: Ms. Malak Takache, IMB Bank
- Board Member: Mr. Sam Darwish, Civic Lawyers
- Board Member: Ms. Rhonda Adams, Express Employment
The incoming President, Mr. George Bousamra, expressed his gratitude to the outgoing Board, acknowledging their dedication and achievements. He emphasized his commitment to leading the AABC with innovative initiatives in 2025, stating, “I look forward to ensuring our members are proud of the new directions we will be taking in the coming year.”
Ms. Reem Borrows, an outgoing Board member and AGM Chair, reflected on the strategic goals of the AABC for 2025 and beyond. With over 12 years of experience as a Life Coach, Mrs. Borrows has been an instrumental figure in the AABC for more than 6.5 years.
The AABC’s next monthly dinner will be the Ramadan Family Iftar, scheduled for Wednesday, 12th March 2025, at Summerland Restaurant in Bankstown.
