According to France 24, thousands of Arab Sudanese have fled fighting in Sudan and arrived in Chad, where they are facing mistrust and hostility from fellow Sudanese refugees.

The tensions are linked to accusations against fighters connected to the Rapid Support Forces. The group’s ranks are largely drawn from Sudan’s Arab communities.

Fighters linked to the Rapid Support Forces have been accused of repeatedly targeting civilians from other ethnic groups. France 24’s Harold Girard reports on the situation facing the refugees in Chad.
