According to ABC News, Australia survived a dramatic collapse to defeat New Zealand by two wickets in the first women’s T20 match.

The result was recorded with Australia at 8/165 and New Zealand at 2/162.

Australia and New Zealand are scheduled to meet again in further women’s matches on October 20 and October 22.
