Some celebrations feel a little closer to home, and Peter and Kayla’s wedding is one of them.

On Sunday, 1 November 2026, the couple mark the beginning of their married life, with a ceremony at St Mary and St Mina Coptic Church in Bexley and an evening reception at Grand Paradiso in Fairfield.

For us at Oz Arab Media, this is an especially happy occasion. Peter’s father, Ashraf Ibrahim, is a regular and valued contributor whose work is an important part of our publication. It is lovely to share in the happiness of someone who contributes so much to our community.

Ashraf and his wife, Nevine, kindly invited us to celebrate their son’s wedding. Their warm message said it simply: “God bless you and can’t wait to see you!”
