Moroccan diplomat Counselor Dr. Najat Amrabi has earned a PhD in Media Studies from the Institute of Research and Studies, graduating with excellent marks and first-class honors after defending her dissertation at the Institute of Arab Research and Studies.

Her dissertation was entitled: “The Role of the Arab League’s Media Discourse in Shaping Public Attitudes toward Internal Conflicts in the Arab Region.”

Counselor Dr. Najat Amrabi told reporters in exclusive remarks after the defense that it had been a long academic journey—full of challenges, hard work, and dedication—but also a rich experience that added a great deal to her academically, personally, and professionally.

Dr. Najat added, “I feel deep gratitude today to everyone who was part of this journey, foremost among them my supervising professor, the members of the defense committee, the administration of the Institute of Arab Research and Studies, and everyone who offered me a word of encouragement, a prayer, or support when I needed it.”

She concluded her press comments: “I dedicate this achievement to all who believed in and encouraged me, to my family, friends, and colleagues who supported me throughout this journey. Praise be to God for the completion of this blessing and for a moment long awaited until it became a reality.”

Counselor Dr. Najat Amrabi offered a prayer: “I ask God to make the knowledge I have acquired beneficial, to grant me success in what lies ahead, and that this step be the beginning of further contributions in the fields of media and communication and in serving the causes of our entire Arab nation, from the Atlantic to the Gulf.”
