The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) warned in an urgent statement against weather conditions during the next 48 hours, pointing to the disruption of maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea, where wind speeds are expected at 50 to 70 km/h and wave heights at 2.5 to 4 meters.
EMA stressed the need to exercise caution and be careful for the safety of all.
It expected that Monday’s weather will be moderate in the early morning, hot during the day in most parts, very hot in southern Upper Egypt, and moderate at night.
Morning fog are predicted on some agricultural and express roads and roads near water bodies during the early morning hours.
Satellites monitored moderate winds that sometimes become active in most parts, especially in open areas.
Weather maps forecasted light rainfall in areas of the northwestern coasts and the north of Lower Egypt.
