Arabic version: هاري وميغان عرض عليهما الإقامة الملكية خلال الزيارة القادمة إلى المملكة المتحدة
Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have been offered a royal residence to stay in during their visit to the UK with their children, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five. This trip marks the family’s first return to the UK in four years. According to BBC News, the family has not yet responded to the offer of accommodation on a royal estate.
Historically, Prince Harry has declined the offer to stay at Buckingham Palace due to security concerns associated with the prominent location. It remains unclear which specific royal residence has been proposed for their stay this time.
During their UK visit, Prince Harry is scheduled to participate in events leading up to the Invictus Games, which will take place in Birmingham next July. He has previously expressed a desire for reconciliation with the Royal Family, highlighting the importance of family connections.
The last in-person meeting between Prince Harry and King Charles III occurred during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022. Security arrangements for the upcoming visit are still under discussion, with no additional security provisions confirmed by Buckingham Palace. The Palace has refrained from commenting on the potential for a meeting between the King and his son, citing the matter as a private family issue.
